Redwood man faces three charges of using forged $100 notes.
Aaron Lawrence Maurice, 35, a builder, was granted a registrar’s remand at the Christchurch District Court, and did not need to appear in court before a judge.
Police allege the offences took place in Christchurch on April 28 and 29, and on May 4.
Maurice was remanded on bail, to get legal advice and to appear again at the court on June 22.
He has entered no pleas to the three charges that knowing the notes to be forged, he used them to obtain property.
