A man charged with stupefying and sexual violation has denied all charges and been remanded for a Crown case review hearing in November.
The 33-year-old man’s interim name suppression was continued with the remand at the Christchurch District Court office. He did not appear in court.
He is charged with sexual violation, attempted unlawful sexual violation, two charges of stupefying, and supplying the class B drug ecstasy.
Police have alleged two women, who knew each other, had been drinking at a city bar before they were taken to another “inner city location” when the incidents occurred in mid-July.
The man remains on bail for his remand to a Crown case review hearing on November 14.
